On Apr 16, Wuxi Process Equipment Manufactuing Co.,Ltd held its opening ceremony since their moved to the new site. Geri Wirz, Managing Director of K-Tron Group, Richard Poole, Sales Director of K-Tron Group, Marcelo Niedermann, Sales Director for Rotex Asia and South America and other company leaders participated in this event.  Mr. Shi Xilian, Dean of  Invest Promotion bureau of Xishan Economic Developement Zone and other government leaders also made their presence to celebrate the great occasion. Coperion, Bunge, Dupont and other customer representatives, totaling over 100 attendees joined in this big event.

As the global leader in providing process automation systems and solutions for bulk material handling., K-Tron came to China in the 1970s . In 2007, K-Tron established its 1st manufacturing site, Colormax Systems, in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China. Till now, K-Tron has provided over 3000 items of equipment to Chinese market.

The General Manager, Mr. Yuan Xichun, told us, Colormax Systems has achieved great progress in the 6 years of development in the Chinese market. The K-Tron group has always given great importance to China. In 2012, Colormax Systems moved to a new site which is twice as larger, and much more modern and fully facilitated.  The more important point is that we constructed the 1st material test lab in China, which contains the equipment from Colormax, K-Tron & Rotex.  Mr. Yuan expressed his confidence in providing Chinese customers with better quality & service, and more integrated system solutions.

Currently Wuxi Process Equipment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd supplies 3 different product lines in China: K-Tron product made in Switzerland, C series assembled in China and domestic series Colormax Systems.  Customers may have more options according to their different capacity demands.  Regarding the future of Wuxi Colormax, Mr. Yuan is very optimistic: ” With the advantage of combination of western technology and local manufacturing, we have very good expectation in Chinese market. We understand with the development of customers’ technique, price is not the only persue of Chinese manufacturers.  More and more customers pay more attention on suppliers’ quality, service and the complete system solutions. We believe the new facility and especially the material test lab are fully prepared to provided our customer with these requests.”
